Yes, for most business apps, marketplaces and SaaS products. Laravel ships a major release every year and has first-party packages for billing, queues, auth and, with Reverb, WebSockets. PHP hosting is also widely available and affordable, which keeps running costs down.
For subscriptions we usually use Laravel Cashier with Stripe, which covers plans, trials, invoices and the Stripe customer billing portal. For one-off payments, marketplaces or other gateways, we integrate the provider’s API directly and verify every webhook.
